The multi channel Linear PCM inside the subwoofer provides true high definition sound from HD sources such as Blu-ray Disc™ players. Connect up to 3 HD devices over HDMI™, then use the HDMI™ output for simple one cable connection of your HD sources straight to your Full HD TV with video pass through so you can enjoy the full benefit of high definition 1080p sound. Exclusive Sony 24p True Cinema technology adjusts picture settings on pass through to ensure movies look as authentic as the original director’s cut.

There are three optical digital audio inputs for easy connectivity to set-top boxes and gaming consoles, a coaxial digital audio input and a stereo analogue audio input. Connect your favourite portable media player such as a Walkman™ or iPod to the Digital Media Port and play music through your TV. You can also connect up an optional EZW-T100 ‘S-AIR’ module to the subwoofer for wireless rear speaker sound.

With the power amp integrated into the subwoofer, you’ll enjoy an even cleaner and purer solution, all in a convenient one-box design. A Portable Audio Enhancer function boosts the quality of compressed music such as MP3s files. The system also includes a built-in RDS FM/AM tuner with 30 station presets.

With its flush black styling, HT-IS100 looks good in any room. The system has tiny golf-ball size satellite speakers that take up minimal space and with the wireless rear speaker option, you can choose to go cable-free and cut down on trailing wires (rear speakers only).
